Why I started The Jamerson House
Two years ago, I lost my dad.
One of the last real conversations we had was about me starting my own business. I had already spent years helping other businesses grow, but starting something of my own was different. It's one thing to know how to help someone else build their business. It's another to take that same leap yourself.
My dad saw something in me that I hadn't fully acted on yet.
He told me that ownership mattered. That building something of your own was worth pursuing. And that I already had the skills to make it happen.
I didn't know then how much that conversation would mean to me.
After he passed, I kept thinking about what he said. Not just about starting a business, but about what it means to believe in something enough to actually go after it.
Eventually, I realized I didn't want to spend the rest of my life wondering what would've happened if I'd listened to him.
So I started The Jamerson House.
Over the past nine years, I've worked across different sides of marketing, from creating advertising that supported campaigns generating more than 307,000 leads to leading growth marketing for a national e-commerce brand.
And somewhere along the way, I noticed something.
There are a lot of people building genuinely great businesses who struggle to get the attention they deserve. Not because their products aren't good enough or because they don't work hard enough. Often, they just haven't figured out how to get in front of the right people.
And I get it.
When you're running a business, you're already wearing a dozen different hats. You're managing customers, operations, employees, expenses, and everything else that comes with keeping the doors open. Becoming a marketing expert on top of all that shouldn't have to be another full-time job.
That's where I come in.
I started The Jamerson House to bring both the strategy and the execution. To help business owners figure out what actually moves the needle, create marketing that connects with people, and turn good ideas into real opportunities for growth.
My dad encouraged me to build something of my own.
Now I get to use what I've learned to help other people build something they're proud to call theirs.
And that means a lot to me.
